I was visiting with some good friends in Cochrane this past weekend, and afterwards I decided to go for a drive. I managed to go through a major storm to get here, but I was glad I persevered!! The clouds were really dramatic and the last of the ice on the pond was melting fast.

We’ve finally hit what most people would consider to be an “actual” spring here in Alberta with sunshine, buds on the trees and grass that’s turning green. The winter was a long one, and my camera outright refused to take anymore snow pictures. Of course I was on its side with that sentiment..!
Now I need to get out, enjoy this fresh new season and get my butt off the computer and create something again! I’ve been busy with a few projects already and have a few more lined up in the next little while, so that’s a good start:)
Here’s to an awesome spring everyone!!
